Hats off Shanti
Sorry for posting in English.
Today I am posting from a place where I could not type in tamil.(I was not active in internet for past few days)
Shanti soundararajan - She is from a poor family which lives on daily wages.By birth she is female, but has not reached pubetry - that is none of her fault(Probably her family coul not afford medical treatment for it - If any docotors are reading this, they can say whether such a treatment exists.)She did not do any malpractice like taking drugs. But the only mistake she did was to run and get a medal for her country.
Whats sad is the sarcastic way people deal with this issue. Dont they realise that they are arrogantly teasing a person's medical condition? Is this how they treat a person who is marginalised?
If Heroes are the people who face adversity with grit, then she is a real life hero. With so much hinderances of poverty and medical condition, if she could win, then hats off to her.The tamil community which pours crores on mumbai actresses can afford to honor a real star by providing 15 lakhs.
